Spring on Mill Beach

LET'S BE FRIENDS

Time Held Dear 24”x 18” oil on panel I guess we all have those life lessons that remind us how quickly the days, weeks, months, and years fly. I’ve made it a practice to give myself those quiet moments at sunrise and sunset to think and remember and dream, before and after all the rush in between. Lately the song of a tiny wren accompanies my thoughts, singing loud and clear. May I always remember the most fleeting moments that make life full and rich.

Pirate Rock 30”x40” oil on canvas has found its home in Boston, and I couldn’t be happier. This place and view has a special significance for me. For me it will be the symbol of finding home in the deepest sense when I came to Cape Cod to live almost 40 years ago. Nice that will have meaning for another person now. Heart Beat 5”x7” oil on panel While my mother and brother continue to recuperate and get stronger every day here in Western NY,I will soon be heading back to where my heart finds joy. Can’t wait to get my feet back in the sand again. While caretaking, I did manage to work on 9 paintings and that matters to me. Shared time with a 96 yr old Mom, conversation and painting. Grateful

Winter Skies I’ve been playing around with the blue grays of winter and some snow paintings. We’ve had so many gray days on Cape lately that the sun would be welcome! Not much more to say but January is a good month to be quiet, think and paint.

Looking back/ looking forward on a snowy New Years Day. This is the first painting that I ever sold back in 2016. It resides in Provincetown, even though the painting is a Nova Scotia beach.
